

A process of manufacturing a children formula in a powder or solution form comprising the steps of mixing homogeneously nutritional components and a supplementary composition containing 2′-fucosyllactose (2′-FL) and fructo-oligosaccharide (FOS), such that when the children formula is fed to the child a chance of the child developing digestive disorders and respiratory infection is reduced, wherein a ratio between 2′-fucosyllactose (2′-FL) and fructo-oligosaccharide (FOS) is 1:(16-100) (w/w); in which the fructo-oligosaccharide (FOS) includes Oligofructose and Inulin, and a ratio between Oligofructose and Inulin is 1:1 (w/w).
